Perry Pound | Founder & CEO
Perry J. Pound is an experienced private equity and infrastructure investment executive, focused on real estate, climate technology, and sustainable assets.
As Founder & Managing Director of Pound Ventures, Perry invests in and advises mission-driven ventures at the intersection of sustainability, real assets, and technology. His expertise spans capital structuring, institutional investment, and large-scale infrastructure development, helping ventures scale with strategic capital and operational insights.
Previously, Perry was a Managing Director at Greystar, where he deployed over $1.5 billion in capital and raised $650 million+ from global institutional investors, executing large-scale transactions across multifamily, mixed-use, and infrastructure-adjacent developments. He also worked in solar infrastructure investments at Recurrent Energy, structuring utility-scale renewable projects that advanced the clean energy transition.
Recognized among California’s 100 Most Influential Leaders by the Sacramento Bee and as one of Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top 25 Developers, Perry has played a key role in shaping investment strategy, sustainable infrastructure, and economic policy. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine Business School and has lectured at Harvard Business School, The Fletcher School at Tufts, Berkeley, and USC.
Perry holds a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy (International Finance & Economics) from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and was an MBA Cross-Registrant at Harvard Business School, where he focused on private equity deal structuring, infrastructure finance, and emerging markets.
Beyond his professional work, Perry is an avid traveler, endurance athlete, and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys triathlons, paddleboarding, skiing, and exploring global markets with his wife and daughter.
